What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. It helps ensure the proper functioning and security of the site, remember your preferences and, where applicable, measure audience.
Types of cookies used
Billify uses two categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies (always active): required for the operation and security of the site (session, authentication, preferences). They do not require your consent.
- Audience measurement (subject to consent): traffic and performance statistics, enabled only with your agreement.
Manage your preferences
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time from the cookie management page or via your browser settings.
Declining non-essential cookies does not prevent access to the site but may limit some statistical measurement.
Retention period
Retention duration varies by cookie type. Essential cookies generally expire at the end of the session or shortly after; your consent choice is kept for a limited period (typically 6 months), after which you will be asked again.
