01 Are my invoices sent to OpenAI, Google or Anthropic?
No. Billify runs its own models on its own infrastructure, in France. No data is sent to a third-party AI provider, and that cannot change without a deliberate modification of our source code.
02 Where is my data stored?
Your invoices and their content are analyzed and stored on our OVH GPUs in France (GRA9 region, Gravelines). Your account metadata (email, credit balance, analysis log) is managed by our authentication provider within the EU. Everything is GDPR-compliant.
03 Why is there a delay when an analysis starts?
Our GPUs shut down when nobody is using them, to save energy. During working hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm), the server is already on: analysis starts instantly. Outside those hours, free accounts wait for the next working window; subscribers can wake the server on demand (allow ~3 to 5 min). Once active, throughput is instant — zero impact on quality.
04 Which file formats are supported?
PDF, JPG, PNG, black-and-white and color scans. Any receipt readable to the naked eye goes through Billify.
05 How is page usage calculated?
1 credit = 1 page analyzed. A 12-page PDF uses 12 credits, regardless of how many invoices are in the PDF.
06 How do I export to my ERP?
All exports are in structured Excel (.xlsx). The columns follow the French Chart of Accounts. Compatible with Cegid, Sage, Pennylane, Quadratus.
07 What if I need a tailored contract?
The Enterprise and Large Account plans include a dedicated contract and a DPA. Contact us via the Pricing page.
08 Is Billify GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Your invoices are processed and hosted exclusively in France (OVH GPUs, GRA9 region in Gravelines); your account metadata stays within the EU. No data is transferred outside Europe, or to any third-party AI provider (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic). A DPA (Data Processing Agreement) is available on Enterprise plans.
