Terms of Sale
Last updated : 2026-04-25
Object and scope
These general terms of sale (the “GTS”) govern the subscription to and purchase of the services offered under the Billify brand (the “Service”), in particular the sale of subscriptions and/or credits (pages) enabling use of the OCR and analysis features.
The GTS apply to any order placed via the website and/or the customer area. They take precedence over any other document, except for specific written conditions accepted by Billify.
Seller / publisher: Billify — French sole proprietorship — address available on request at probillify@gmail.com — registration/VAT number: not applicable (VAT exemption). Full details: Legal notice.
Definitions
- Client: natural or legal person purchasing the Service.
- Account: personal space providing access to the Service, tracking and billing.
- Subscription: recurring plan (monthly/annual) granting access to a volume of pages and/or features.
- Credits: consumption unit (e.g. 1 credit = 1 page analysed).
- Contents: uploaded documents (PDFs, images, scans) and extracted data.
Orders, subscriptions and credits
Offer presentation
Offers (plans, included volumes, options, pricing) are presented on the Pricing page and/or in the “My subscription” area. The applicable conditions are those in force at the time of the order.
Order and account
Orders are placed online; the Client reviews the details (plan/period/price) before payment. Any confirmed order constitutes acceptance of the GTS. The Client agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are taken out for a period (monthly or annual) and, unless otherwise stated, automatically renewed at each due date at the rate in force. Each plan includes a volume of pages/credits per period; in the event of overage, additional charges may apply depending on the offer.
Credit packs
Billify may offer credit packs on a unit basis or in addition to a subscription. Credits are consumed when documents are analysed. Unless otherwise stated, credits are non-refundable and may have a validity period.
Billing
An invoice is made available in the customer area after payment and/or sent by email. The Client is responsible for retrieving and archiving their invoices.
Prices and payment terms
Prices are stated in euros. Unless otherwise indicated, they are excluding VAT; applicable taxes (VAT) are added at payment according to the Client’s tax situation.
Billify reserves the right to change its prices. New prices do not apply to current subscriptions before their next renewal date (unless required by law or agreed by the Client).
Payment: payment is made via a secure provider (for example Stripe). Billify does not store card data; transactions are processed by the provider under its own terms.
Term, cancellation and withdrawal
The Client may cancel at any time from their “My subscription” area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; no pro-rata refund is owed for the period already paid, unless required by law.
Right of withdrawal (consumer)
A consumer Client has in principle a withdrawal period of 14 days from subscription. For digital services, they may request immediate performance and then acknowledge that performance begun before the end of the period may result in the loss of the right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed. Requests to probillify@gmail.com.
Suspension / termination by Billify
Billify may suspend access in the event of non-payment, fraud, breach of the GTS/Terms of Use, security threat or abusive use, and terminate after a notification that has remained without effect in the event of a serious breach.
Personal data
The terms governing personal data processing (purposes, legal bases, retention, rights, sub-processors) are set out in the Privacy policy. Billify implements reasonable security measures (encryption in transit, access control, logging).
Liability and availability
Billify’s liability shall not be engaged for indirect damages (data loss, loss of opportunity, loss of revenue, commercial loss).
For professional Clients, Billify’s total liability (all causes combined) is limited to the amount excluding VAT actually paid during the 12 months preceding the triggering event.
The Service is provided in SaaS mode. Billify endeavours to ensure 24/7 availability, except during maintenance, incidents and force majeure, without guaranteeing absolute availability or perfect results: OCR/AI may produce errors that the Client must verify before any accounting, tax or legal use.
Force majeure: neither party shall be held liable in the event of force majeure within the meaning of French law.
Governing law and disputes
These GTS are governed by French law.
- Professional Clients: failing amicable resolution, exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
- Consumer Clients: applicable legal jurisdiction; consumers may resort free of charge to a consumer mediator, whose details are available on request at probillify@gmail.com.
